The 2025 conference invites attendees to engage with a broad spectrum of themes that reflect Europe’s complex and evolving landscape. Conference delegates will explore how European societies are navigating global pressures, advancing digital and environmental transformation, and addressing questions of rights and identity.

Liverpool, a vibrant and historic city known for its cultural legacy, will serve as the perfect backdrop for the event. Take advantage of this opportunity to explore its renowned waterfront, iconic architecture, and dynamic arts scene while immersing yourself in a community dedicated to advancing European Studies.

Themes of Resilience and Transformation

The 2025 UACES Annual Conference invites attendees to engage with a wide spectrum of themes reflecting Europe’s resilience in the face of a rapidly changing world. This year’s agenda will address critical issues including integration, governance, social equity, and sustainability, offering fresh perspectives on the challenges and opportunities ahead. Through collaborative sessions and thought-provoking discussions, participants will explore how European societies are adapting to new global pressures, advancing digital and environmental transformations, and addressing complex questions of rights and identity. Together, we will examine the pathways to building a more resilient, inclusive Europe that can thrive in an interconnected, yet increasingly complex, global landscape.
