UCD Sutherland School of Law has been at the forefront of legal education and scholarship in Ireland for more than 100 years. It is home to the Centre for Regulation and Governance and the Institute of Criminology, and has research groups in Human Rights and Constitutional Studies. Its faculty contribute to legal and policy debates in Ireland and internationally, as well as publishing in scholarly journals, with both Legal Studies (the journal of the Society of Legal Scholars of the UK and Ireland) and the Irish Jurist edited there. It also offers Masters and Doctoral inter-disciplinary programmes in European Law and Governance.
